In 2010, the Conquer Cancer Coalition asked COGdesign volunteers Linda Herman and Ellen Forrester created a planting plan for the Cancer Garden of Hope on Boston’s City Hall Plaza. The garden features 150 linear feet of granite planters positioned over 3,000 memorial bricks which honor both survivors and victims of cancer.

Six years after the garden was installed, it’s still going strong — just like many of the people named on the wall.
