The Natick Housing Authority has asked COGdesign volunteers to improve pathways and plantings at the Cedar Gardens housing complex. Many of Cedar Gardens’ elderly and disabled residents are already planting in plots beside their apartments, growing sunflowers, tomatoes, hydrangeas, hostas, and bright annuals. COGdesign volunteers are designing attractive, low-maintenance areas where residents can walk safely, gather, and enjoy the outdoors.
